We haven’t had a puppy update in awhile! Here’s Bailey today after a much needed haircut (it was six months since the last one and the groomer was not happy). He’ll likely need to wear a sweater in the chilly weather but lost about 1kg of weight in hair!
Bailey is experiencing sibling rivalry with baby Truett. I found him in Truett’s crib once, which was terrifying but thankfully Truett wasn’t in it. He is learning that Truett’s toys and areas (bouncer, playmat) are off-limits to him, but he still tries to test the boundaries. He gets most anxious when Truett does his high-pitched cries (only when he’s cold, way overtired, etc), responding by whining and running around.
We’re trying to give our fur baby as much attention as possible. As soon as Truett starts eating (and throwing) real food, we know Bailey will definitely be glad he’s around!
